Yoga (grades k-2, session 2)
Stay warm with us as we learn and practice different yoga asanas (postures), balance, breathing techniques, and meditations — all under the guise of fun!
Ms. Kara’s kids yoga classes feature creative storylines, yoga games like musical mats, singing, and learning empowering phrasing while incorporating cross-lateral body movement. We will practice using our breath to aid our movement and build up to a simple vinyasa-style flow.
Due to the length of the class and the age of the participants, we will also enjoy a kids yoga story time each class.
